DIGITAL FILMMAKING GR 10 (DFHR2S) – ½ credit

 

Prerequisite: N/A

 

Content: This is a project-based course in which students will use sound, still images, moving images, text, graphics, and animation to create a video product. Students will define the purpose and audience for a film, create a storyboard with sketch drawings and descriptions, and develop a shooting schedule including timelines and logistics. They will learn the effects of camera settings and lighting techniques, how to digitally capture images and sounds and to digitally edit video and sound clips.
