STEP 4: To Add a Title

Page history last edited by Mr. Correia 7 years, 10 months ago

Titles allow for you to frame your video. They help create a beginning, middle and end, so they’re really important to include. To add a title at any point within the video, move your mouse to the bottom left to find the Title option.

Click on it, drag it on top of the part of the video you will want the title to reflect, you can then expand it along the timeline to the point you prefer.

Double click on it and you’ll be able to play around with the text size, color and style. Have fun and be creative!

Give Your Project an Opening Title

Introduce your creation to your audience by adding an opening title. An opening title can be placed directly over a video clip or background of your choice. Titles allow for you to frame your video. They help create a beginning, middle and end, so they’re really important to include.

Click Maps & Backgrounds.

Select and highlight a background. For example, here we have chosen Curtain.

Drag and drop your chosen background into your timeline.

Click Titles.

Select and highlight a title style; here we have chosen Drifting.

Drag and drop your chosen title style into the beginning of your timeline.

Double-click the title element to edit the text, font and size.
